Where the air smells like lemons, the sky and the sea merge and you can visit the (potentially) deadliest volcano on the planet and also walk around the ancient Roman ruins of Pompeii.
We booked a small hotel (see the map link below) that has a view right towards the sea, Naples and Vesuvius. It was amazing and we totally recommend it, as well as their small restaurant with the best home-made cannoli (featuring white cream and orange jam – pls bring me some❤️). The road is very very tight (rent a small car!) but the hotel is right there on the top.
